My Uncle's Book

My Uncle Paul wrote a book about his experience in Iraq. This is what he said:
"It’s been over a year since I returned from Iraq. Like many of you who have served our country or have friends and family serving, you may be surprised at how the war is portrayed in the media compared to your experiences or the experiences of loved ones.

I felt it’s time that someone who’s actually been to Iraq and worked with Iraqis on a day-to-day basis set the record straight. I interrogated Iraqi generals, uncovered corruption in Baghdad, and saw inside the hearts of many wonderful Iraqi citizens.

This is a side of the War in Iraq that Americans rarely see. It’s a compelling, uplifting, and an illuminating story. For a change this is a positive story that for me was magical.

The book is Saving Babylon: The Heart of an Army Interrogator in Iraq. It’s just been released and I’d like you to receive a copy of the book before it arrives in bookstores nationwide. I know you’ll enjoy it. It’s been especially well received by those who have family and friends who have served in the military."

This sounds really fascinating. I think I'll get it as a Christmas present for Robert. Thanks for telling us about it.
