Jessicurl

Well an update on this past week. I had a shade shirt party on Wednesday and I invited 100 people. 8 of which came. So that was a bummer. I made cookies and chocolate covered strawberries and had plenty left over.

The picture is of my hair because my mom saw this girl on the Rachel Ray show the other day who was talking about her curly hair products and what not so I went to the website and it has totally helped my hair! She does this thing called plunking and that really helps my hair stay curly even on top. I have been lookng for ways to style my hair and I may be on to something here. I have noticed it is REALLY dry here, so maybe I'll start some deep conditioning and my friend told me not to shampoo everyday so I'll try that too. I don't know if any of you care, but that is the life of a curly-haired person. Posted by Picasa

Your hair always looks great! (What the heck is plunking? You need to go more into detail on that one) Sorry you didn't get the numbers you wanted, but 8 isn't that bad for one of those home parties! The last time I had a Pampered Chef party NO ONE came. Such a disappointment. Oh well!

If you go to the website, click on demo videos and then click on the plunking one for your player. Basically you dip your hair so it accordions on your towel and wrap it up on top of your head.

You wash your hair every day?? I gave that up a long time ago--same reason, my hair was too dry. But now, I would never wash my hair every day! It takes a couple of weeks to get used to it--it feels like your hair is dirty for a bit, but then after a couple of weeks, you look in the mirror and realize, hey, it's actually not dirty and looks better! And then, you'll never wash your hair every day ever again!

Well it is easier I think to go without washing your hair when you have straight hair, it's a whole other story with curly.

I don't care about your hair at all, but I sure wish I could have had some of your chocolate covered strawberries. I'm ticked that only 8 out of 100 people showed up to your party too. People tick me off sometimes. Is it really that hard to come out and support someone for an hour?
