Christmas party
We went to Ethan's work party tonight at the Phoenix Zoo. We were expecting a lot because I guess last years party was the bash of the year, but it was actually kinda boring. We did have good conversations with Ethan's friends, and met a lot of new people and had fun looking at all the lights they had set up at the zoo. We tried to make the most of our evening since we had a babysitter. Check out the web album for more pictures and notice my lovely necklace given to me for Christmas from my sister.
Per request, some people wanted to know more about what Ethan has been up to at work, so here is a little fun tidbit of information. Work has been going well, the city where his development is has decided to take some of the things Ethan has implimented on his project and make it city standard for all developments, which is good for Ethan, but crappy for all the other developers who weren't doing it. The senior project manager sent out an email to all the VPs to let them know how good of a job Ethan has been doing. He is also looking forward to building an office onto our house next spring so he can use all of his tools and have an excuse to buy more. :)

That is absolutely the coolest! He is just doing great things in his job. Congrats Ethan. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get here. You two make a very handsome couple.
Great job Ethan. We always knew you were a smart young man -- it's good that your manager also recognizes it.
Beautiful necklace Ashley.
Love the zoo lights! And your necklace IS very cool!
Huh. This picture clinches it. I did see you in the airport last Christmas. Talk about your unexpected coincidences.
You two truly are a handsome couple, when did you start drinking coffee?
They did have some awesome hot chocolate there. Of course I'm not drinking coffee.
