Typical

Well a funny, but sad thing happened tonight. Ethan had opened a can of green beans, but the lid didn't come off completely and he put it in our recycling bin. Logan found it and stuck his little hand in, but when he tried to pull it out the lid shut and it was like a little trap; the more he pulled the more it hurt and it ended up slicing his finger open. It was dripping blood all over the place. Much worse than my cuts and he couldn't have cared less. How can a little 19 1/2 month old be fine with it and I freak out? Here is a picture of Ethan holding Logan's finger while he eats cheese. It wouldn't stop bleeding which was a little scary, but eventually it did and we put a band-aid on it. (I know I said I would never use band-aids on my kids, but what else could I do?) :)

Well it's obvious that he doesn't take after either one of you in that way. It's good that you have someone in the family that can keep cool in a crisis! Give his little finger a kiss from me.

Exactly what do you have against band-aids? oh my gosh, if I only owned stock...Wait a minute! We DO own stock in Johnson & Johnson!! Seriously, kids LOVE bandaids. (and tend to need them quite often!) Glad Logan is ok.

Wait, why don't you like band-aids? What do you use? Do you like, old-school it with a towel and some twine, or what?

I just think band-aids are gross, along with used scotch tape and stickers. Liquid bandage is a good thing, but I didn't have any.

Ouch they are always braver then us. We should get our sons together to play. Caviston is 3 but I think he might play well with a 1 1/2 year old. We would have to try it to see. I have been going to the park by my house almost afternoon aftern naptime, if you want to join us. Some of the girls from our ward who live by me are there sometimes to.
