Birthday party

Logan went to his buddy Hunter's Birthday party today. He loves playing with Hunter; I'm so glad they get a long great together. They played with playdough and had little ice cream cups and cup cakes. He got to have a sucker in the car and was very happy about it. On Sunday he grabbed his pants so I asked if he had to go pee pee and he said it back so Ethan took him to the bathroom while at church and he went! That was a first time out of the house.

A lot of my friends had been talking about this book that they love and I kept hearing more and more about it, so I thought it was my turn to read it. It's called "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer. I don't think I would normally recommend it because it seems like something just I would like. And I did like it VERY much. I read it in less than 24 hours and it's 500 pages! But I haven't heard anyone that doesn't like it so I guess I will recommend it. The story line seems a little strange when you describe it (being about a girl in love with a Vampire) but it is soo good. The author lives here in Glendale and I guess she is Mormon. So check it out!

congrats on Logan going potty! It looks like a fun party. I'm going to get that book. I think I heard something about it. I'm on a reading kick right now. So cool about Ethan getting to throw out the first pitch at the Diamondback's game!

Hey, I missed out on that Gerber coupon. Will you let me know when and if you find another great deal like that?

The party looks like fun - and I'm sure it was fun for Logan - SUGAR! I will have to check out the book you recommended, I'm always looking for something good to read at work.

When Logan was younger, I thought he looked exactly like Ethan, but as he's growing up, he looks more and more like Ashley. He definitely has Ashley's eyes I think -- at least this picture looks that way.

I am also a huge TWILIGHT fan! I didn't think I would like it, but a couple of friends raved about it so I read it. It was a really entertaining, quick read. I felt like I was in high school all over again -- a fun teen romance. I've read one of the sequels too: NEW MOON. Definitely not as good. And the third book in the series (I hear there's more coming), ECLIPSE, just came out this month and a friend told me it was even worse than NEW MOON. Still, TWILIGHT was so good that I'm hopelessly hooked on the characters and will probably keep reading in hopes that the story picks back up.

*Sidenote: I don't know if you watched So You Think You Can Dance (my favorite show ever!), but I thought Neil from the show (top 4) was exactly how I pictured the character "Edward" from the book.
