Deal of the day

I don't usually mention deals I get, but this one was really good. My friend Candace (pictured with curly hair and tall) told me about this coupon for buy 2 Gerber products and get $1 off at Target. She bought 40 jars of baby food for 80 cents! The jars ended up being 2 cents each. How awesome is that. And most of the food doesn't expire till the end of next year so I decided to stock up while the coupon was still good (expires the 15th). It's weird to think that I can use it in the next year or so. I went to Target after my workout and bought a bunch. The small jars are 52 cents but I also bought the bigger ones and they had some 2 pack plastic ones on clearance. So not all mine were 2 cents each, but I still saved a ton of money This stash cost me $11.50 and that includes the graduates meals which are 1.99 each. You can print as many coupons as you want and use them all in the same transaction. Here is the link to the coupon: http://babycheapskate.blogspot.com/2007/07/two-cent-jars-of-baby-food_13.html

This picture is from yesterday. I went to dinner with the girls from the Relief Society presidency. Candace is moving next week so we wanted a last hurrah. We went to a place called Paradise Bakery. Seems all the girls here know about it. I've never heard of it before this. They had my favorite soup (cheesy broccoli) with bread bowls, but they were out of bread bowls so I got the tuna sandwich and it was way good. Every meal comes with a super good cookie. I recommend this place to any one. I want to go back so I can get my bread bowl.

What a great deal!!! I'm going to print them off and pass them along. You need a baby food section in your new pantry. The lunch with the girls sounds fun. We went today too for Caitlin's birthday.

Way to go!!! Who doesn't love a great deal?!? I went to Paradise Bakery last night with my fam (cause I didn't want to cook) and it was great. It just opened about a month ago...and who doesn't like a place where cookies come with the meal...I mean really?!?

Yay! I did this with Devin last night and only spent $14 on $40 worth of gerber graduates. We went back today and spent $7 on $30 worth of stage 1 foods for the new baby. It is like a mini adrenaline rush! WOOHOO! :o) however, we can't find any 2-cent jars (our lowest price jars are $0.52 which is $0.04 after the coupon). Did you find any?

Haha! I was thinking that it meant 2 cents total for both jars after the coupon, so devin and I kept looking for 51-cent jars. Oops. :o)
My mistake. Thanks for the correction and good luck today when you go back.

Very cool deal! Too bad Target is in Idaho Falls here or else I'd hop in the car and run down.
