Graffiti, solids, playdate

Last night around 9:00 I get a knock on the door. It's a black young man with his shirt off. "Yes?"
"Someone's been going around writing on cars and they wrote on yours too."
"What? with what?"
"Some sort of marker"
Ethan and I go check it out. On the back of his truck it says 'I'm Gay all the way'. Plus some artwork of male body parts...
He thought it was kinda funny, maybe because it was written in dry erase marker so it came off easily. I don't know if he would think it was so funny if it was permanent.

I gave Gavin his first taste of pears yesterday. (That's what's in the mesh part). He liked it so this week I'll by some rice cereal for him.

Today was Logan's first of many playdates. Every week we will have one at one of the mom's houses. Today it was at mine.

That's a great idea "Play days". Especially when a child of Logan's age needs other children his age to play with. You are great mom's to do that.

I love play dates. We usually have them out at splash pads or bounce rooms but it stinks that all the parents have to be present the whole time. Basically, I like that yours offers free time. I may try to arrange something like that. Good idea!

That stinks about your car and I'm glad it was dry-erase. Don't worry, I don't think you're "gay all the way". Probably some punks who need jobs. The usual! :o)

ROTFL - I can't believe someone would do that to your car. Yeah - I'm glad for you that it was just dry erase.

It makes me laugh that they graffiti'd with dry erase marker. WOuldn't surprise me if these were 8 year olds. oooh...law breakers! (still sucks though, it's mean!)
