Applebees!!

This plant is from the manager at our local Applebees. No it's not because I am their best customer. The past 2 times I went there I had horrible service and I was really disappointed so I emailed my complaint in and the manager called me earlier this week and wanted to hear my story. I told him and he said he was going to bring me by a complimentary voucher for a free dinner on him. I never heard him knock, but this plant was by our front door with a card and the free voucher. He wants me to come in and not tell the waiter that I have it so as to test them with their service. Now how nice was this?! Another reason for me to love Applebees again.

As for the potty training, I'm getting a little nervous after all those comments that this is going to take awhile. It is such tedious work to keep putting Logan on the toilet constantly and just sit there and sing a song to keep him occupied. He did pee yesterday, but he was standing up (like a big boy) and I had to blow on it to make him go. Heh, it worked though :) How long should this take?

From someone who potty trained 7 kids, let me tell you, there is no set time. It really depends on the kid. I found that if they just don't seem to be getting it, I back off for awhile and try again about a month later. You don't have to start all over again, they pretty much picked up where you left off. I used a little potty chair and set it in front of the tv or read them a story while they sat there. I always let them get up when they wanted to though so they didn't think of the potty as a form of torture. Have you tried turning on the water in the sink?

Huh, I've never heard the 'blow on it' technique. I agree, it depends on the kids. My two boys were over three before they got it. My first got it down the first day. My second it took 6 months of trying off and on. We filled the kids full of juice, sat them nekkid on a blanket in front of the TV and took them to the potty every 20 minutes. If they went, they got a treat. Worked great for Sean, but again, he was just over 3. Logan's pretty young still. Turning onthe sink never worked for me. Some kids like stickers. Best of luck!
