Gavin's 2nd birthday and Betty Crocker giveaway!

Through My Blog Spark and Betty Crocker I was able to give Gavin a fantastic birthday party. They gave me a flip video camera, 100 visa gift card, and VIP coupons for the cake and frosting.

They wanted me to record a video of Gavin before the party asking him some questions...but he is 2, and I didn't get a single response out of him, so that video is REALLY boring.

On Betty Crocker's website they have instructional videos on how to make their cakes and tell you all the things you need to buy to make it. I decided to make the Old McDonald birthday cake. This is how it is supposed to look:

and this is how mine looked:
Not too shabby I think!

Here are all the decorations I was able to get:

Here is a video of the party before everything got taken over by the children:

And the Birthday Boy!

And I had to put this one of Paul saying Skittles, he's so cute! (You only need to watch the 1st 25 seconds).

Now on the the GIVEAWAY!...

Betty Crocker through My Blog Spark has been generous to give one of my readers a Betty Crocker "Bake Life Sweeter" prize pack that includes VIP coupons and all the baking tools you will need to recreate the cake I made for the party! Cool huh?

To enter: Visit Betty Crocker and tell me which cake you would try to make if you won. (1 entry per person.)

Giveaway ends Friday March 19th 11:59 pm Arizona time.

Your barnyard cake came out so cute! We were totally inspired by the Building Blocks cake for Josh's birthday and the Poppin' Up Happy Birthday cake for Riley's a month later. They are both so excited for their birthdays now and are already planning away! Thanks for sharing the link -- I'm always eager to find cute ideas!
