Ethan's homemade pasta

w4ie3br5vs

Ethan reminded me that I had failed to post this the other day.
On Sunday he made homemade pasta and sauce.

The house reeked of garlic and I wasn't really looking forward to it. But I must say I was PLEASANTLY surprised. It was REALLY good. (It even had onions in it and I still liked it.) It would have been nice if we had a pasta maker, but oh well. The sauce was a bit sweet and I liked that. Next time we'll probably cut up the chicken and mix it in with the pasta.

I give it 5 stars :)

What pasta recipe did he use? I have been thinking about making it lately and have been looking for a good recipe.

He doesn't go off a recipe, so it is hard to give details. The pasta has egg, flour, olive oil, and salt. The sauce has olive oil, garlic, onions, parsley, salt, sugar, and tomato sauce. You can use basil or oregano if you would like. He did have any fresh on-hand so he didn't use it this time.

way to go Ethan! Darren sticks to the grill and that's about it.
He tried to make cupcakes once, from a box, and even managed to mess that up so we are pretty happy he doesn't try too much in the kitchen. :)

Love the camping/4th pictures below, looks like a lot of fun. The temperature at your place however looks awful! I'm not a fan of temps in the 100's but I'm glad you were able to hang out some place a little cooler for your trip.
